West Bromwich Albion could be looking to sign West Ham United’s Grady Diangana on a permanent deal should they achieve promotion to the Premier League, according to club insiders Claret and Hugh.

The 22-year-old has been on loan at The Hawthorns since the start of the season and so far, he has contributed seven goals and six assists in 29 Championship appearances for Slaven Bilic’s side (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk).

A victory for the Baggies over Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday evening would see them seal a place in the Premier League for the 2020/21 campaign regardless of the results fellow chasers Brentford or Fulham achieve.

Meanwhile, The Sun claimed last week that the promotion hopefuls are not the only ones interested in signing the player – with the likes of Celtic and Ajax linked with Diangana.

To kick off this quiz on the goings-on with West Ham last week, interview footage of which player emerged on Twitter discussing the Premier League's potential return?

Diangana is valued at £4.05m, but with West Ham apparently looking for a fee as high as £20m for the winger, it is thought the club could command significantly more for his services.

TIF Thoughts…

West Ham United have all but maintained their Premier League status for next season, despite at one stage, hovering dangerously above the relegation zone.

Diangana has certainly shown he can perform to a consistent standard at Championship level, according to WhoScored.com, as he has averaged a very respectable performance rating of 7.09/10 – though whether he could deliver the same level of performances at the clubs he is being linked to, or indeed West Ham, remains to be seen.
