How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

Kelly spent quite a bit of time discussing Spurs’ 3-1 defeat to Sheffield United and identified Eriksen as the man that Spurs need to replace.

This is what he said on Eriksen and the need to replace the Dane:

“For me, he [Eriksen] was pretty much the lynchpin, I know you had Dele Alli, and you had Harry Kane who are wonderful players.

“But I felt he was the one that knitted it all together, he was the driving force behind how successful they’ve been over the last few seasons, I think he’s been instrumental.

“It’s very hard to replace a player of that quality in and around that final third that can pick a pass, sees things quickly, plays directly.

“Any time Kane is making a run, he’s always looking to find him straight away, and they’re screaming out for someone to be able to come and replace him.”

It seems as if Kelly feels that Spurs have to find a replacement for Eriksen.

TIF Thoughts…

Eriksen departed the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in January for a move to Inter Milan, where he has scored three goals and provided three assists.

The 28-year-old joined Spurs in 2013 and made 305 appearances in which he scored 69 goals and provided 89 assists.

The club were heavily linked with Bruno Fernandes last summer who has taken the Premier League by storm since he joined Manchester United in January.

The Portuguese international has scored five Premier League goals and provided three assists, he could have been an ideal signing, but it wasn’t to be.

Kelly might be right though, Spurs could have to go out of their way to find a replacement for Eriksen in the transfer window.
