Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reported news on Tanguy Ndombele.
Football.london reporter Alasdair Gold shared the news that the French midfielder will now miss the remaining two games of the season with the injury he suffered in training earlier this week.
This has unsurprisingly attracted the attention of a lot of Lilywhites supporters on Twitter, many of whom were quick to speculate whether the 23-year-old may have now played his final game for the north London club. The former Lyon man has been linked with a move away to the likes of Barcelona, despite the fitness issues that have plagued him throughout his debut Premier League campaign.
Do you think Ndombele's played his last game for Spurs?
Yes
No
So far this season, the French international has made just 21 appearances in the top-flight; contributing two goals and two assists, which has seen him average a less than impressive 6.71 rating (per WhoScored).
Reaction from Spurs fans to the injury update on Ndombele can be seen in the tweets below.
That’s the last we’ll see of him. Been the worst transfer in our history. We can’t afford to get that level of transfer wrong.

It will never work out for him in the premier league.

Some Spurs fans seem frustrated that he might be leaving.
Astonishing. Arguably Tottenham’s most gifted player, and there is an issue there not related to injury…

Got a bad feeling about this https://t.co/eHShB46S79

Let’s face it he’s not in the managers plans he doesn’t want him. There’s no doubt he is going to be an excellent player but I doubt it will be in the PL. Such a shame

Terrible news. We need max points from the remaining games

Huge mistake in due diligence which cannot be rectified as Ndombele DNA does not accord with Premiership demands at top level. We must trade him if any progress can be made next season since we have severe midfield deficiencies which restrict the entire team

Other Lilywhites supporters suggested that they won’t miss him if he does leave.
Well we won’t miss him as he hardly ever plays. I wonder if we will see him in a spurs shirt again?

He’s getting sold then… What an absolute flop and waste of money.. he might be brilliant somewhere else in a less competitive league but he is not a premier league player

There seems to be a split of opinion amongst Spurs fans regarding Ndombele, however, the majority seem to think he might be leaving.
