How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

In an article he wrote for Football.london, Gold relayed Mourinho’s comments on Spurs defender Ben Davies saying that he ‘didn’t remember’ seeing Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe during the north London Derby last weekend because of how good Davies performed in their 2-1 win.

This post from Gold quickly gathered a lot of replies from Tottenham fans, who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest update from Gold.

Here’s a sample of Spurs fans responding to the post:

One fan took a negative approach.

The 27-year-old, who is currently valued at £15.75 million according to Transfermarkt, first signed to the club back in 2014 from Swansea City for a fee of £11.39 million.

Since then, he has gone on to make 188 appearances for the club in which he has managed to score four goals and provide 17 assists along the way.

For his performance against Arsenal at the weekend, Davies earned himself a match rating of 6.66/10, making him Spurs’ seventh-highest-rated player on the day (per WhoScored).

Did Ben Davies have a good game against Arsenal?

As well as some Spurs fans taking this quote from Mourinho as their chance to praise Davies, others took it as an opportunity to make fun of Gunners winger Pepe instead.

It appears that this quote from Mourinho has gone down very well with this group of Spurs fans. Whether they agree more with his praise for Davies or his little dig at Pepe, they certainly haven’t been shy in letting their feelings known on the matter.
