Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a Twitter post from the club which shared footage of Mousa Dembele.
On Thursday, it was the Belgian midfielder’s 33rd birthday and to mark the occasion the club posted footage from his time with Spurs.
Alongside the footage of their former middleman, the club also shared the comment: ‘Ohh Mousa Dembele. Happy birthday!’
This had lots of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful flocking to it to air their thoughts.

I miss Moussa and I do think we have someone similar re moving with the ball in Ndombele. He needs developing as clearly has huge potential. Far too early to write him off and if we sell he’ll go on to become a world beater elsewhere. Needs a run of games and higher up the pitch.

Not even 10 o’clock and I’m fully crying ??
How did we let him go…— Roxx (@RxnRoxy) July 16, 2020
Dembele, who is valued at £3.15 million (as per Transfermarkt), spent six and a half years as a Spurs player having arrived from Fulham in August 2012 and departed for Guangzhou R&F in January 2019 (per Transfermarkt).
Did Spurs make a mistake by selling Mousa Dembele in 2019?
Yes, should have stayed
No, he had to go
Best player we’ve had in this era. I always appreciated him but now gone even more.
