Spurs fans on Twitter have flocked to a post from Giovani Lo Celso following the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace in their final game of the Premier League season.
The north London club secured a spot in next season’s Europa League with a draw at Selhurst Park, after Wolves’ defeat against Chelsea (per BBC) saw them grab a sixth-placed finish. The Argentinian international provided just his second Premier League assist of the season in the draw, which saw him earn an impressive 7.66/10 rating for his performance (per WhoScored).
The 24-year-old was originally signed on loan from Real Betis at the start of the season, but his stay was made a permanent one in January, and he has been a regular in Jose Mourinho’s side ever since. The former PSG man posted on Twitter following the game, saying: “Thank you all for supporting us as always! Let’s rest now and come back stronger for the next season!”
