Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest transfer rumour linking their club with a move for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, with Lucas Moura potentially headed in the opposite direction.
According to Corriere dello Sport, as per football.london, the Lilywhites are keen to sign the Polish international this summer and are willing to offer the Brazilian as part of the deal. The former Ajax man has impressed in his performances in Serie A so far this season; contributing 10 goals in 18 appearances in the Italian top flight, which has seen him average a solid 7.07 rating (per Whoscored).
Moura, meanwhile, has struggled to impress in the Premier League this season; having averaged a disappointing 6.88 rating across his 28 appearances; with just four goals and two assists to his name in the English top flight (per Whoscored). Therefore if you were to judge this potential swap deal just on their performances this season, then it would seem as if Spurs would be the ones getting the better deal.
Who would you rather have in the Spurs squad?
Lucas Moura
Arkadiusz Milik

I actually think this would benefit both teams…

Lucas is a squad player. His place in squad could be replaced by likes of Fraser or Edwards or Eze. Milik from what I’ve heard about him, would be good squad cover up front. We are desperate for another striker option.

Lots of Spurs fans suggested that they would rather see Erik Lamela leave than Moura.
No, include Lamela

Lamela instead and we have a deal

Others suggested that it might be a good idea, with one fan suggesting that the arrival of Steven Bergwijn in January means that Moura is unlikely to feature as much going forward.
Lucas is gone since Steve B arrived

Do it..moura doesn’t contribute enough

Here’s what other fans had to say:
This is absolutely revolting. Going after a 37 goals in 80 odd appearances striker (in serie a) for arguably one of our best players is shameful. Likely fake, but if it’s true this is vile.

How dare they

Overall, it seems as if a fair amount of Spurs fans feel that Milik would be a good signing for the North London club this summer and wouldn’t mind seeing Moura go the other way.
