Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest social media post from the north London club.

This comes after the official Spurs Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained a video of several Spurs players wearing the new Nike kits for the 2020/21 season in between clips of them in action for the club during the 2019/20 campaign.

The page captioned this post with the phrase: “New season. Fresh look.” Included in the post was a link to the club’s online store that had the new kits in stock, which are priced at £70.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans, who were quick to share their responses to this latest announcement from the club.

Here’s a sample of Spurs fans responding to the post:

Jose Mourinho’s side finished in sixth place in the 2019/20 Premier League season on 59 points after winning 16 of their 38 league matches, drawing 11 and losing 11 during the campaign (per BBC Sport).

Now that the club have officially announced their new home and away kits for next season and revealed the prices for them, this sparked a huge reaction from Spurs fans, who were not impressed with how much the club are charging for the shirts.

It appears that these Spurs fans are not best pleased by the fact that they would have to spend £70 if they want to buy their new club kit for the upcoming season.

This set price for the kit could be as a result of the impact that the current global pandemic has had on Nike and their online sales in recent months.
