Fans of Tottenham have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of the club’s interest in Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Reports in FootMercato suggest that Jose Mourinho ‘dreams’ of bringing the 25-year-old to north London this summer, with the report stating that Spurs are in a ‘sufficient financial’ position to make the deal happen.
After the report was relayed on Twitter by Daily Hotspur, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that the move will remain a dream due to the club’s current owners.

Since moving to Lazio from KRC Genk for a fee of £16.2 million back in 2015, Milinkovic-Savic has gone on to make 197 appearances for the Roman club, scoring 37 goals and providing 26 assists.
The midfielder has particularly impressed this season, scoring five goals and providing four assists over his 28 Serie A appearances, averaging an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.33/10 over the course of the season – ranking him as the 15th-best performer in Italy, as well as helping his side to currently sit second in the Italian table, just four points behind league leaders Juventus.
Is Milinkovic-Savic a realistic transfer option for Spurs?
Yes
No
He also impressed in the club’s Europa League campaign, scoring one goal and providing one assist, averaging an even more impressive match rating of 7.63.

While it would appear that many of these Spurs fans seem to think that a potential move for Milinkovic-Savic is nothing more than a dream, only time will tell whether or not a more concrete move for the midfielder is made by Spurs.
