Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to an injury update that was relayed to social media by the club.

On Friday, Spurs tweeted a link to an article and stated: ‘Jose provides an injury update ahead of the North London derby.’

The post on the club’s website then revealed that it is ‘as we were’ for Spurs against Arsenal following the match with Bournemouth on Thursday night (per Tottenham Hotspur).

That means that Dele Alli will miss the game with a hamstring issue and Eric Dier is still serving his four-match suspension.

Lots of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful then flocked to this post on Twitter to have their say on the injury update.

The two players which the post stated would miss the clash with Arsenal have been Spurs’ sixth and 13th-best performers in the Premier League this season (per WhoScored).

Alli has been the sixth-best performer with a 6.89/10 average rating and Dier has been the 13th-best with a 6.72/10.

As can be seen in these responses from Spurs fans, many were left concerned following the injury update and one supporter felt that they were damned regardless of who would be absent.
