A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have responded to a post from The Spurs Web that includes a link to their site with a report on Jude Bellingham.
From there, they have a link to a report from the Daily Telegraph about Spurs’ bid for Bellingham while he was still with Birmingham City.
According to the report, Tottenham bid £1m for the 17-year-old last summer, and he has just joined Borussia Dortmund for an initial fee of £25m.
Do you think at the time that was a fair bid for Bellingham?
Yes
No
This has drawn a reaction from these Spurs fans who are fuming.
Pathetic. Remember, they thought Jason Sancho was too high at 7 million!

Cheeky??? That’s not really cheeky. That’s insulting and just puts us further behind the rest at the top.

And we laughed at the 40m and a penny Arsenal bid for Suarez

Bellingham made 43 appearances for Birmingham in the 2019/20 season that saw him score four goals and play in five different positions.
Dortmund will probably be hoping that he will be as effective as Jadon Sancho, who left Manchester City in 2017 for a move to Germany, where he has thrived scoring 34 goals and providing 43 assists in 99 appearances.
He really is an embarrassment to the badge and the club

Bellingham played a lot of first-team football this season for Birmingham, so it will be interesting to see how much he gets this year at Dortmund.
A bid of £1m for Bellingham may have angered many Spurs fans.
Still, we understand why other Tottenham supporters are not annoyed, and we will just have to see how Bellingham develops in the Bundesliga before deciding if Spurs missed out or not.
