Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been flocking to a Twitter post from Giovani Lo Celso following Spurs’ 1-0 victory over Everton.
In the clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday night, an own goal from Michael Keane in the first half was enough to seal three points for Jose Mourinho’s outfit (per BBC).
Lo Celso almost played the full match against the Toffees, however, was substituted for Jan Vertonghen in second-half stoppage time.
In the tweet which the Argentine shared, he stated: ‘Important win. Keep going’, and included three photos of himself from the match (per Giovani Lo Celso).
Lots of Tottenham supporters then flocked to this to air their reactions to the 24-year-old’s social media post.

For his role in the victory, Football.london awarded the Spurs midfielder with a 6/10 match rating and praised his ‘industrious game’ but felt that he was not as ‘eye-catching’ as he can be.

Another solid performance, Gio. ?

Across the season as a whole, though, it would perhaps be fair to say that the 24-year-old has been delivering under-par performances for the north London club.
Over 23 Premier League outings, Lo Celso has bagged an uninspiring 6.56/10 average rating, which has made him Spurs’ 11th-worst performer (per WhoScored).
Love the goal Gio. COYS

As can be seen in these responses from Spurs fans, they felt that the Argentine played well against the Toffees and they were keen to praise his performance.
