Kendall Rowan has been speaking on a recent episode of NUFC Matters with Steve Wraith, and she has provided her view on the proposed takeover of Newcastle United.

Starting with an easy one, against which club did Shelvey make his Newcastle debut?

Wraith hosted a special NUFC Matters Ladies Night that allowed a panel of female Newcastle fans to express their views on all things related to the Toon, and Rowan revealed her thoughts on the takeover and her belief that there will not be a resolution to this soon.

“I sometimes think no news is good news because then obviously it’s not been rejected, but at the moment, just with everything coming out you don’t know what to believe, and I honestly don’t think there’s going to be a decision anytime soon, which completely leaves us in limbo for the transfer window.”

So, it seems as if she cannot see a resolution to this saga anytime soon, and after recent developments, that certainly seems the case.

Do you also think a decision is far away now?

Yes, seems that way

No, everything will be resolved quickly

TIF Thoughts…

The deal for Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium to buy Newcastle from Mike Ashley has been with the Premier League since April after a deposit was paid to the current Toon owner.

However, the PL has not been satisfied with the answers they have received from the consortium regarding the takeover, and they are now seeking assurances.

Staveley’s group must now prove that the PIF and the Saudi government are separate from each other, while the deal now appears to be stuck, and Newcastle are in limbo.

It seems as if the consortium must now come up with a new set of answers, or this takeover will not be moving any further forward.
