Many Newcastle United supporters have been reacting to @NUFC360‘s tweet in which they shared a report from the Northern Echo’s Scott Wilson providing an update on the futures of Danny Rose, Valentino Lazaro and Nabil Bentaleb.
It’s said that Steve Bruce is confident of being able to do a deal with Tottenham Hotspur for Danny Rose but that Nabil Bentaleb and Valentino Lazaro are yet to prove to the club they should look to sign them permanently.
Here is how a sample of the St. James’ Park faithful have responded to the post on Twitter.
Out off all the loans we had signed, Danny Rose has been one off the worst ? much rather willems over Rose

What why? He’s been the worst of the lot

Oh dear ?

It’s clear from the above responses that these supporters are particularly enthused by the reports suggesting the club could sign Danny Rose on a permanent deal. The left-back is currently valued at £14.4m according to Transfermarkt.co.uk but we’ve had no indication of what Spurs would demand for the player in terms of a transfer fee.
At the start of the season, the Magpies signed Jetro Willems on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt but unfortunately, his season came to a premature end when he suffered a knee injury back in January.
Would you be happy with the signing of Danny Rose on a permanent deal this summer?
Yes
No
It seems that despite playing just 20 times for the club, the Dutchman has convinced the Toon faithful that he would be a good addition.
We want Willems back.

No. Willems

It appears that Rose still has some way to go in terms of convincing those who follow the club that he is worth tying down beyond the end of this current season.
