A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from Steve Wraith that expressed his positivity towards the ongoing takeover of the club.
Wraith claimed that in his view, the takeover is ‘growing closer and closer’ and that a lot of the media have been against this takeover to further their own agendas.
His post attracted the attention of these Toon fans, who were happy to stay positive about the takeover.
Do you have the same belief as Wraith?
Yes, it will get done
No, something will go wrong
Agreed Steve. Appreciate your continued positivity

The deal for Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium to buy Newcastle from Mike Ashley has been agreed since April, and a deposit was paid to the Magpies’ current owner.
However, here we are in July, and nothing has been announced with the Premier League still going through their required checks.
This has not stopped these Toon fans from remaining positive about the Toon’s proposed takeover.
It’s happening!! Keep the faith Bonny Lads!!! ????????????

Firmly believe if it could not be worked through or resolved or sorted it would have been dead long time back. They’re working it together to resolve. I think PL want it as well as buyers. It’s good for all parties IMO

Wraith has remained positive throughout this whole saga as he admits in this tweet, and it seems as if his continued positivity has helped many Newcastle fans through uncertain times for their club.
However, we think that even he would struggle to deny the fact that there are clearly issues with this takeover, mainly over piracy in Saudi Arabia, that have caused this delay.
The Athletic’s Matt Slater believes that the Premier League sees this as a chance to end piracy in Saudi Arabia once and for all – so that could explain why the authorities have taken so long to ratify the takeover.
However, despite this, Premier League chief executive Richard Masters did confirm last week that he hoped for a conclusion to this process ‘shortly’.
Hopefully, this comes to pass and we can see if Wraith was right to be so positive or not.
