Newcastle United-focused Twitter account @NUFC360 recently caught the attention of some Toon supporters after they posted a tweet which shared some comments that were made by Allan Saint-Maximin’s brother Kurtys, who recently spoke to CalcioNapoli24

This tweet explains that Kurtys is his brother’s agent and he recently told the Italian publication that he has never spoken to the Serie A club about a possible transfer of Saint-Maximin.

This post goes on to share some comments that the agent recently made to CalcioNapoli24 with regard to his brother’s future. He said: “I still don’t know his future, it’s too early but he will want to play as a starting player in the UCL [Champions League].”

After these comments were shared by @NUFC360 on Twitter, plenty of Newcastle fans reacted to this post to share their thoughts on the agent’s comments.

Some Toon supporters replied to this tweet to share that they believe Saint-Maximin may have the opportunity to compete in the Champions League with Newcastle one day, amid negotiations over a possible takeover of the St. James’ Park club.

Starting with an easy one, against which club did Shelvey make his Newcastle debut?

Do you think that Allan Saint-Maximin will be able to compete in the UEFA Champions League with Newcastle one day?

However, other Newcastle fans shared some concerns about the winger’s future in response to this tweet.

According to WhoScored, Saint-Maximin has been Newcastle United’s best player in the Premier League this season, earning a team-high average overall rating of 7.32/10 from his 22 appearances in England’s top flight.

With that in mind, it may be understandable why Toon fans may want to keep Saint-Maximin at the club, which is how it appears these Newcastle supporters feel.
