A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from NUFC 360, which has relayed news from the Daily Mirror containing more opposition to the proposed takeover of the Toon.
It is claimed that Liberal Democrat MP Daisy Cooper has called on the Premier League to reject the takeover, and SNP culture spokesman John Nicholson added that the takeover by a Saudi-backed consortium would be a stain on the PL.
This drew the attention of these Toon fans who are bored of all this opposition now.
Does this opposition bother you?
No, it is all just noise
Yes, it could swing the PL into rejecting the takeover
Legit sick of all of this now like. It’s not even worth getting excited about anymore ?

It was reported that the Premier League would finally reach a decision on the takeover of Newcastle.
Still, Saudi Arabia announced that they had permanently blocked beIN Sports, which led to Richard Keys claiming that the PL would not be making an announcement.
It is unclear what this will mean for the takeover, but many Newcastle fans used this post to highlight the links between the SNP and Qatar, so they feel that any opposition from the SNP is essentially from Qatar.
Another one sponsored by Qatar

SNP party with massive ties Qatar. Shock horror. And nothing to do with them. Just like all of the listed complaints are zero to do with whats in the O&D test – just like tv rights arent a part of the test. Come on prem make a decision now instead of letting these rats chime in

Unreal how concerned an SNP MP is about English football. Doesn’t seem jarring at all..

It’s very evident that the @GOVUK should be investigating funding connections between @theSNP and the Qatari government.#nufc #NUFCTakeover

The deal for Amanda Staveley’s consortium to buy Newcastle from Mike Ashley was agreed with the current Toon owner in April, and a deposit was paid to him.
Yet, here we are in July, and still, nothing has been decided.
This has left Newcastle in limbo, and with the transfer window fast approaching, the PL has to make a decision on this saga, or they risk damaging one of their clubs.
It will be interesting to see if they finally decide on this takeover this week.
