One Newcastle fan replied to this tweet to congratulate Saint-Maximin, while another Toon supporter responded to this post to ask the winger not to leave St. James’ Park.

As per WhoScored, Saint-Maximin is Newcastle United’s highest-rated player in the Premier League for the 2019/20 campaign, so after the winger shared his joy at being nominated for the English top-flight’s June Player of the Month award, some Newcastle fans replied to his tweet to share that they have voted for the winger to win the award.

This article from the English top-flight’s official website states that in addition to June, ‘the first half of March has also been considered in deciding the contenders.’

Saint-Maximin made three Premier League appearances for the Toon during March and June, earning an average overall rating of more than 8/10 in each of those games. With that in mind, it may be understandable why these Toon fans seem to believe that the winger is more than worthy of a place on this shortlist.
