2018/19 season quiz: How many points did Jurgen Klopp's side accumulate in the Premier League?

On the topic of Robertson, who recently celebrated his three-year anniversary of becoming a Liverpool player, Bradbury shared his thoughts on the left-back and the transfer that brought him to Anfield.

Discussing a recent piece for the Liverpool Echo from Joe Rimmer which described the full-back as ‘the most satisfying signing made during the Klopp era’, Bradbury was in agreement as he continued to wax lyrical over Robertson.

He said: “In this piece, there’s a nice phrase from Joe where he says: ‘He’s certainly the most satisfying signing of the Klopp era,’ and I think that is undoubtedly true.

“He’s got heaps of talent. He was a bargain buy. He’s someone who’s had to work hard for it and develop and we saw that period of transition, I think, at the start of his Liverpool career where it did take a few months for him to get up to speed but as soon as he wrestled that first-team place and then made it his own he hasn’t looked back he’s an absolute key cog to what this team does.

“As well as on the pitch, he gets the ethos of the club and I think that’s part of where that satisfaction comes in when you sign someone, you develop them as a player and they go on to achieve the success that he has, but they’re also tuned in on a social level with what the club and the city stands for. I think that’s a huge bonus and obviously helps him in terms of his appeal with the fans. Everyone absolutely adores him.”

TIF Thoughts…

Taking into account the amount of appearances Robertson has made since he signed for Liverpool and the number of goals and assists he has provided for the team since then, it would be safe to say he has been a successful signing for the Merseyside club.
