On the topic of whether or not Liverpool will be active in the upcoming summer transfer window, Addison shared this latest update.

He said: “It’s not going to be a summer that’s going to be particularly busy for Liverpool.

“I think some of the players who maybe would have moved on maybe won’t do so now just because the prices are not going to be the same. It’s not going to be quite as easy to get those deals done. And there’s no real rush either for Liverpool to get deals done because obviously the position of strength that they’re in.

“Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool won’t be plundering huge amounts in the transfer market. But we kind of knew that, it’s partly because they can’t just go and spend and it’s also because it’s not the most sensible thing to do when you as good as what Liverpool are and you’re as far ahead in the Premier League title race and that sort of thing. There’s just no need to take any risks.”
