Everton still ‘retain an interest’ in wanting to secure the services of Crystal Palace’s Ivorian attacker Wilfried Zaha.
According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees have maintained their interest in signing the 27-year-old forward from the Eagles.
Reportedly, when a previous move to Everton or Arsenal broke down due to Palace demanding an £80m fee for Zaha, it was much to the player’s frustration.
However, Carlo Ancelotti’s outfit is not alone in their interest in signing the Ivorian international, as Newcastle United, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are all reportedly keen.
As stated by the Daily Mail, that will lead to a ‘summer of transfer uncertainty’ for Roy Hodgson’s side.
The 27-year-old attacker currently has three years left on his contract at Selhurst Park and a market value of £39.6m, according to Transfermarkt.

If the Toffees were able to strike up a deal with Palace to secure the services of the attacker, it would certainly seem like a good move for the Merseyside outfit.
This season, Zaha has delivered a solid average rating of 7.02/10 over his 36 appearances in the Premier League in which he has directly contributed to seven goals (per WhoScored).
Had the forward earned the same average rating for the Toffees in the Premier League this term, he would have been their third-best performer (per WhoScored).

In the league this season, Richarlison has had 2.5 shots per game whereas Zaha has had just 1.6. However, both players have made 1.0 key passes per match and Zaha has completed 4.5 dribbles per game whereas Richarlison has completed just 1.7.
So, it would seem that both players have different strengths to their game which could mean the two would complement each other if they were to play together.
