According to recent reports, Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha looks set for another ‘summer of uncertainty’ surrounding his future, with Newcastle United, Everton, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich all said to be interested in the 27-year-old.

According to the reports by the Daily Mail, the player is set to be at the centre of more transfer speculation over the coming window, having reported to have told the south London club of his desire to leave last year, only for mooted moves to Everton and Arsenal to break down due to Palace’s £80 million asking price.

The reports go on to state that Everton remain interested in signing the winger this summer, while Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are ‘monitoring Zaha’s situation heading into the transfer window’.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are said to be another potential destination for the Ivory Coast international, however, the strength of their interest depends on whether or not the club’s ongoing takeover deal receives Premier League approval.

TIF Thoughts…

It is unsurprising to see that plenty of clubs are interested in the services of Zaha, as the winger has once again proved to be the star of the Palace side this season.

Over his 35 Premier League appearances so far this season, the £39.6 million-rated 27-year-old has scored four goals and provided three assists, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 7.03 – ranking Zaha has the club’s best performer this season, prior to Thursday’s fixture against Manchester United.

Would you be happy for Palace to sell Zaha this summer, should an acceptable bid be lodged?

As such, were the club to sell Zaha over the coming months, it would certainly appear as if they will need to look at bringing in a capable replacement, or else risking missing out on a crucial performer in their side for next season.
