Although the £450k-rated forward has not featured for Chelsea’s senior squad, he does boast experience of first-team football, having been sent on a number of loan spells.

The most recent of these occurred this season when Ugbo moved on a season-long loan to Dutch second-tier side Roda JC Kerkrade.

In 29 appearances for the club, the 21-year-old scored an impressive 13 goals and provided three assists – his most successful return of goals over any of his other spells on loan.

In addition to this, the forward has also racked up 15 goals and three assists over 34 appearances for Chelsea’s U23 side, as well as 10 goals and one assist for their U18s.
