Pundit and former player Craig Burley has talked about how Jack Grealish may improve the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham or Manchester United.

Burley was recently a guest on the latest episode of the ESPN FC podcast and the panel talked about many things on European football. The former Chelsea midfielder was asked about Grealish and he gave his opinion about what he could bring to the three Premier League powerhouses.

Can you score 20/20 on this Premier League quiz? Starting off easy, who is the top scorer in the Premier League this season?

Grealish has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks. It has been reported that the 24-year-old is expected to depart Villa Park and while United are ‘leading the chase’ for him, ‘a number of clubs on the continent will also come into contention’ to sign the Englishman (via The Athletic).

While talking about which teams Grealish would fit into, Burley said: “He would improve Arsenal.  [He would] certainly improve Tottenham. Whether Man United feel they need him now with what looks like some appeasement in the [Paul] Pogba situation where he looks a bit happier and he’s played a bit better. [Nemanja] Matic has signed a new deal, [Scott] McTominay’s signed a new deal and then they’ve got Bruno Fernandes. So that might rule that out, but we’ll have to wait and see.”

Which club will Jack Grealish join in the summer?

Burley clearly seems to think that Grealish can bring a lot to the table for Spurs and Arsenal, but doesn’t sound too sure about whether United would still need him following the arrival of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba’s return to fitness and form.

TIF Thoughts…

Grealish has had an impressive campaign for Villa this season. The Englishman has made 33 Premier League appearances and has scored seven goals while picking up six assists (via WhoScored).

He has earned an average WhoScored match rating of 7.22/10 – the highest in the Villa team this season. This shows how important a player he is for the club. It also shows why clubs could be looking at him this summer and going by his numbers in performing for a struggling Premier League side, he would arguably be a valuable addition to many clubs in the Premier League, too.

So it remains to be seen where Grealish ends up this summer and if this could end up being a prominent transfer saga in the offing.
