Nice easy one to start off with, from which club did Leeds sign Hernandez?

The piece claims that the Elland Road hierarchy, including owner Andrea Radrizzani, are set to sit down with the Argentine and sort out plans for next season and a new contract.

This contract to Bielsa is set to be £100,000 per week, which will be £40,000 a week more than his current deal, that is set to expire at the end of the month though there is an option to extend it.

Is a new deal for Bielsa exactly what is required?

TIF Thoughts…

It seems as if Leeds have identified Bielsa as crucial to the future of the Whites, and a new contract could reflect his importance to the club.

Since he arrived in 2018, the Whites have won 55 games in all competitions and were knocked out in the play-off semi-finals last year by Derby County before storming to promotion this season.

Leeds have conceded just 35 goals – the least in the league – and have scored 73, the third-most in the league, so in that sense, they have pretty much dominated their opponents in the second tier this year.

Bielsa has done a wonderful job, and this wage rise would reflect the fantastic job he has done, and it could also convince the Argentine to have a crack at the Premier League.

We hope that Bielsa does sign this new contract and his journey continues with the Whites because he has promoted them back to the Premier League, so it would be good to see him get the chance to manage in the top flight of English football.
