Nice easy one to start off with, from which club did Leeds sign Hernandez?

The Athletic reporter discussed many other topics related to Leeds United, and confirmed Leeds’ plans for the future of Harrison following the extension of his loan in recent days.

Here is what he had to say on the 23-year-old:

“It’s changed slightly with Jack Harrison.

“So he will come back on loan next season, but the option [to buy] moves onto the following summer – that was due to be taken up before the end of May, but at that point, they hadn’t started games again, there were no games going on, the season wasn’t finished, it was difficult for people to know how it was all going to end.

“So, if they take him on permanently next summer, which I expect them to, they would be paying slightly more, so you would be looking at £10m rather than £8m, but ultimately, it suits everybody.”

It seems as if Harrison will be staying at Elland Road for another loan spell, and then after that, Leeds may have to pay a little more than they would have done this year to make his move permanent.

TIF Thoughts…

Considering how much Harrison improved this season for Leeds, sealing him for another year at Elland Road seems like a good move.

This could give him the chance to play in the Premier League, and if he impresses, he could be a bargain for the £10m fee Hay hints at.

In the 2019/20 season, the 23-year-old beat his records from the 2018/19 season for both goals and assists, so it will be intriguing to see how he does in the new season.
