Colin Murray, speaking on the latest episode of the Football Daily Podcast, has been discussing how he thinks Leeds fans will be feeling after watching their side draw with Luton Town at home and, at the same time, see Brentford beat Reading 3-0.

Nice easy one to start. Who is this current Leeds man?

Murray spoke about many things but spent a bit of time on the Championship and, in particular, Leeds and Brentford.

Here is what he had to say about Leeds.

“They are eating up the ground [Brentford] on that dotted line, so that’s why tonight’s result [Leeds 1-1 Luton Town] will be a little bit precarious for Leeds fans, despite the gap.

“Even though Leeds did what Leeds do, 76% possession 23 shots on goal, it was onslaught the last 20 minutes.

“I think they are going to go up automatically, but I don’t support Leeds, and if you support Leeds, you’re in a dark room right now.”

It seems as if Murray still believes that the Whites will go up automatically, but Brentford’s form is concerning.

TIF Thoughts…

Since the restart, Leeds have lost to Cardiff City, beat Fulham, and drawn with Luton.

This has left them at the top of the table with six games to go, and they have a gap of six points between themselves and Brentford in third.

However, the Bees have won every game since the restart and have not conceded a goal yet – so they are looking in fine form.

The Whites, though, are top of the table and face Blackburn Rovers next who have just lost to Barnsley.

The Bees, meanwhile, face Wigan Athletic as they look to keep up their stunning form.

It will be interesting to see if Leeds can secure another three points and edge closer to that goal of automatic promotion.
