Nice easy one to start. Who is this current Leeds man?

The piece includes a link to another piece that claims Leeds were interested in the 25-year-old last summer but did not make a move.

The report states that Leeds’ pursuit of Swift is irrespective of whether they are in the Premier League or the English second tier next season as the hierarchy regard him as a player capable of thriving in either league.

TIF Thoughts…

Swift has had a superb season for Reading as he has scored five goals and provided 11 assists for the Royals in all competitions.

He has played as a central midfielder, an attacking midfielder, and as a defensive midfielder, so he is versatile, and it is claimed that the Whites think he can play in the Premier League if they are promoted this season.

The former Chelsea man is valued at £3.6m by Transfermarkt so he might not cost the Whites too much, and at only 25, he still should have a long time left in his career to make an impact.

However, for now, Leeds are probably focusing on securing promotion from the Championship to the Premier League.

Considering they are six points clear of third, they could have a good chance of achieving that.

However, the Whites could only manage a draw with Luton Town on Tuesday night, but they are still top of the table.

We feel that it seems probable that Leeds will be focusing on promotion before looking at possible transfer targets for the summer.
