Fans of West Brom have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays the latest on West Brom and Leeds United transfer target, Adolfo Gaich.

According to recent comments made by journalist Nicolo Schira, Inter Milan have joined the race for San Lorenzo striker Adolfo Gaich, who would be available for a figure of around $15million (£12.1million) due to a release clause in his contract.

According to Schira, Gaich is a target for a host of clubs, including Sevilla, Leeds United, West Brom and Roma, with the 21-year-old reportedly rejecting offers from AC Milan and Club Brugge in recent months.

Schira also relayed comments by Pablo Caro, Gaich’s agent, who stated that the player ‘would like to move to Serie A’, while also going on to suggest that the forward would be available for “$15m [£12.1 million], but he could be purchased for less.”

In reaction to the news, which was relayed by WBA Report on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that things like this happen all the time to their club, while others have stated their belief that, despite the interest from many glamourous European clubs, the striker would prefer a move to White City to live in a ground floor flat.

So far this season, Gaich has made 12 appearances in the Argentinian Superliga, seven of which have been starts, scoring five goals and averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.84.

While the news that the player would rather move to Serie A is understandably disappointing to hear for West Brom fans, some appear to have understood the decision, stating that, with the calibre of the players currently competing in Serie A, it is not hard to see why the player would prefer a move to Italy, meanwhile, others have even suggested that the news could even be good.

Meanwhile, other fans have commented on the physique of the 1.90m-tall forward, while some have joked that they may even get promoted to Serie A.

However, despite some of the fans reacting light-heartedly to the news, it could be argued that the fact that the striker would rather a move to a different country is undeniably bad for the club.
