Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest news surrounding the return of the Championship.
This comes after Leeds journalist Phil Hay shared a post on Twitter quote-tweeting a post from the Championship’s official account.
The tweet contained a link to a statement made by the EFL revealing that the Championship will resume on the weekend of June 20 and that it will finish on July 21/22.
The statement also revealed that the play-off final will now take place within the first week of August.
Hay’s post relaying this news to his followers gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans, who were quick to share their thoughts on the matter.
