A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a post from EllandRoadHQ which relayed the news that the EFL could allow five substitutes to be used per game rather than three when the Championship restarts.
The post from EllandRoadHQ claims that this could give the likes of Leif Davis, Jamie Shackleton, Ryan Edmondson, Ian Poveda, and Tyler Roberts the chance to get more first-team minutes.
This post has drawn the attention of many Leeds fans, who feel that Roberts is a first-team player anyway.
Tyler Roberts has the ability to start , if he gets injury free gets consistency

Roberts is first team.
Leif could do with a season on loan specifically in the Irish league where talent is a smidge lower than his, so if he was top player there, that’d do wonders for his all round game n confidence— ?? LUFC is Life ?? (@Carlianleeds) May 31, 2020
Tyler Roberts not in first 11?

The 21-year-old has made 14 appearances for the Whites this season in which he has scored three goals.
Do you think this rule change would badly impact Leeds?
No
Yes
There were suggestions earlier this season that the former West Bromwich Albion man was going to have a key role to play for Marcelo Bielsa’s men, but he has ended up missing the matchday squad for 16 league matches.
However, he showed what he could do when he came off the bench against Hull City and bagged a brace at the end of February.
So, we understand why these Leeds fans don’t feel as if he is a youngster.
Other Whites fans feel that this new rule will actually negatively impact Leeds – as it will allow the opposition to stay fresh.
One fan even claimed that the EFL would make some changes just to stop Leeds winning promotion.
Ita very bad news!! We tire the opposition out! This lets them restock!

I think this disadvantage Leeds, as its towards the end of games Leeds are fitter and stretch teams more. More fresh legs might be a leveller

EFL plot to derail Leeds season…
Leeds only allowed 3 subs not 5???
— Dave Reynolds ? ? (@_Dave_R) May 31, 2020
The EFL confirmed that they intend to restart the Championship season on the 20th of June, which could be good news for the Whites considering they are seven points clear of third place.
If they get off to a good start and follow how Marcelo Bielsa’s teams have performed from a standing start in the past, then Leeds should have enough to get promoted from the Championship.
The confirmation that the league is returning is a positive step toward this end goal, and the Whites were in superb form before the enforced suspension.
If they can pick up where they left off, then the number of substitutions the opposition can make could make no difference.
