Supporters of Celtic have been airing that they believe a loan move away from the club would be the best option for Marian Shved.

The opinion from fans comes after The Scottish Sun revealed that the player is a loan target for his former club Karpaty Lviv if Neil Lennon is willing to let him go.

Reportedly, the Ukrainian club would take the winger back on loan in a ‘heartbeat’ if it were possible.

The article also states that Oleksandriya are chasing the 22-year-old attacker. However, the player would only return to his boyhood club.

Celtic acquired the services of Shved from Karpaty in January of last year after they paid £1.8 million to secure his arrival before immediately loaning him back to his previous club for the remainder of the season (per Transfermarkt).

The story then led to a Celtic-based fan page @CelticGossip airing that they believed a loan move would be good for the 22-year-old, which many Hoops fans were in agreement with.

The winger only managed to make three appearances for the Hoops over the 2019/20 season, with only one of those coming in the Scottish Premiership (per Transfermarkt).

However, a possible sign that the player may have good potential for Celtic is the fact that the winger managed to bag a goal in his one outing during Champions League qualifying.

After the report emerged on him potentially being loaned back to his former Ukrainian side, many fans continued airing their beliefs that he would be best somewhere relatively local.

While many fans believed that a loan would benefit him, other supporters felt that he should be given a proper chance at Parkhead.

As can be seen in most of the responses from Celtic fans, they believe that a local loan move would be best for the Ukrainian youngster.
