Fans of Celtic have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays the news that the club’s Southampton loanee Mohamed Elyounoussi is back in training with the Parkhead club.
According to claims made by a BBC Sport reporter on Twitter, both Fraser Forster and Mohamed Elyounoussi have resumed training with the rest of the Celtic squad at Lennoxtown.
However, they go on to state that loans from English clubs usually expire at the end of June, meaning that their presence in Celtic training does not necessarily mean they will re-sign with the club.
After the news was relayed by Celtic Gossip on Twitter, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that they have been impressed with Elyounoussi over the course of the season, and would very much welcome the left-winger back to the club.
I like him; I hope he gets to stay & gets a run in the team.

After joining Celtic on a one-year loan deal from Southampton last summer, Elyounoussi went on to make 20 appearances in all competitions for the Bhoys, scoring seven goals and providing six assists.
Should Celtic sign Elyounoussi on a permanent basis?
Yes, of course
Not at all
As such, it is not surprising to see that many Celtic fans would love to see the Norway international make a return to the club next season.
Either way would be strange having them back if we didn't intend to, and have been encouraged by Southampton to either purchase or extend their loan? Surely otherwise, they'd just be asked to do their own thing until they can return to Southampton? Wishful thinking perhaps

Watch the Tic at the earlier part of the seasonabd that’s the best I’ve seen them play since the MON era, fluent beautiful football. When he played he upped everyones game. He’s a brilliant footballer. Celtic should break the bank for him.

I’d keep him

While many Celtic fans have made it abundantly clear that they would like to retain the winger’s services, his current market value of £8.55m could be slightly high for the Scottish champions.
However, this is purely speculation, and the winger may well end up pulling on the green and white of Celtic once again next season.
