Many Celtic fans have been responding to a tweet from their former striker Moussa Dembele in which he shared a photograph of himself in training with the following caption: ‘Always focus’.
Dembele signed for Celtic from Fulham in 2016 on a free transfer and was later sold to the French side Lyon in a deal worth £19.8m (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk). The 23-year-old represented the Hoops 94 times, scoring an impressive 51 goals and providing his teammates with 18 assists.
Here is how a sample of the club’s supporters have responded to the player’s post.
Come back on loan for ten Mate then you’re free to go to any Club on the planet ??

Do you believe Edouard to be as good as Dembele?
Yes
No
It’s clear from the above responses that these Celtic supporters still hold Dembele in extremely high regard. The player has continued to score goals for the French outfit, scoring 42 goals in 88 appearances for Lyon so far (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk). Since he was sold to Lyon, Dembele’s value has increased to £36m, a sign that the player’s reputation continues to grow and therefore you can understand why some fans remain disappointed he left the club. However, they continued to praise him.

The impression Dembele left on the Parkhead faithful is clear for all to see, one fan even pleaded with the striker not to embarrass Celtic too much if he faces them in a friendly match anytime soon.
