Birmingham City-focused Twitter account @BCFC_News recently posted a tweet that included a link to an article from BirminghamLive which discusses ex-Rangers goalkeeper and alleged Blues transfer target Wes Foderingham. 

This report from BirminghamLive states that Foderingham “has been linked with Blues over the past 12 months” and as per Sky Sports, the goalkeeper’s contract with Scottish club Rangers has expired, meaning that he is now a free agent. 

This article shares some comments that the 29-year-old goalkeeper recently made following his departure from Ibrox when speaking with ‘The Open Goal Podcast’. The goalkeeper is quoted as saying that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard questioned his “willingness to fight for a position” when he arrived at Ibrox. 

This tweet from @BCFC_News which shares this report asks Blues fans whether or not they would like to see Foderingham at St. Andrew’s and plenty of Birmingham fans have been sharing their thoughts on the alleged transfer target in response to this tweet.

Some Blues fans have shared that they would like to see Foderingham at their club, with one Birmingham supporter claiming that he is better than their current goalkeepers.

Foderingham played in 143 games for Rangers during his time at the club according to Transfermarkt, however, he featured in just 13 games over the past two seasons, which may explain why some Blues fans have shared a negative response to this report linking him with Birmingham City.
