Birmingham City-focused Twitter account @BCFC_News recently posted a tweet that included a link to an article from BirminghamLive which discusses ex-Rangers goalkeeper and alleged Blues transfer target Wes Foderingham.
This report from BirminghamLive states that Foderingham “has been linked with Blues over the past 12 months” and as per Sky Sports, the goalkeeper’s contract with Scottish club Rangers has expired, meaning that he is now a free agent.
This article shares some comments that the 29-year-old goalkeeper recently made following his departure from Ibrox when speaking with ‘The Open Goal Podcast’. The goalkeeper is quoted as saying that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard questioned his “willingness to fight for a position” when he arrived at Ibrox.

Foderingham played in 143 games for Rangers during his time at the club according to Transfermarkt, however, he featured in just 13 games over the past two seasons, which may explain why some Blues fans have shared a negative response to this report linking him with Birmingham City.
