Sport Witness recently published an article linking Nottingham Forest with a move for Senegalese forward Mbaye Diagne, who is also allegedly a target of Championship leaders Leeds United.

This report cites Turkish newspaper Sozcu as the original source of this alleged news. The article claims that Forest “are ready to make an offer to sign” the Galatasaray forward. Transfermarkt currently values Diagne at £4.32m, however, this report from Sport Witness goes on to explain that Forest are allegedly prepared to offer €7m (£6.28m) for the attacker, which they claim Galatasaray “would gladly take”.

We will look at Marcelo Bielsa to kick off this quiz on the Championship's managers, which of these national teams has the Leeds United boss managed?

Back in late May, Nottinghamshire Live published a report which shared some news that originally surfaced from another Turkish publication, Fotomac, which claimed that the Reds, Leeds United, and Premier League side Watford are all interested in signing the Senegal international. Furthermore, Nottinghamshire Live published another report earlier in the month of May which included a screenshot of a post from Diagne’s official Instagram account which featured a Forest badge, which this report stated was “a massive hint to Reds fans that he could be poised to move to the City Ground”.

Would this be a good signing for Forest?

TIF Thoughts…

Sport Witness’ most recent report linking Diagne with the Reds states that Leeds United “aren’t so keen on the player at the moment”. With that in mind, as well as the claim that Galatasaray would be happy with Forest’s reported valuation of the player and Diagne’s previous activity on Instagram, it appears as though there have been many positive signs for Reds fans which indicate that this transfer could end up being successfully completed.
