The Express and Star journalist Nathan Judah has been discussing how much Wolverhampton Wanderers could command for their star players in the next transfer window.

As reported by various outlets over the past few months, both Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore have both been linked with big-money moves away from Molineux to big-name clubs.

According to Transfermarkt, Jimenez’s valuation is greater than Traore’s as the Mexican is valued at £36m and the Spaniard at £22.95m.

However, on the latest episode of the E&S Wolves podcast, Judah discussed how much the Old Gold could request for the transfer of any star names.

To start this quiz on Ruben Neves with an easy one, in the region of how much did the Old Gold pay to secure the midfielder's services?

He said: “When we were asked the question, I think a couple of weeks ago, about [Diogo] Jota, or Traore or Raul – which one of the three do you see going.

“We kind of moved Jota to the side, I think that’s the one person [to keep] and then Traore and Jimenez depending on their age, the money and the market value.

“You could see crazy money; you could see you one of them potentially going for an astonishing amount.

“Raul Jimenez scored 20 Premier League goals last season. He’s on the way to scoring 20 again this season; it might have been close to 20 last season.

“What I’m saying is, a Premier League striker who scores goals, who makes assists, who stays fit – that is a rare commodity in the Premier League and that’s why Wolves can demand massive money.”

TIF Thoughts…

As can be seen in what the journalist had to say on Jimenez and Traore, it is his belief that Wolves could be on the receiving end of an “astonishing amount” if one was to leave.

Will Wolves sell any of their star players in the next transfer window in your opinion?

Yes, it's going to happen

Yes, it's going to happen

No, not going to happen

No, not going to happen

That may be just as well, too, as the two players have been Wolves’ best-performing players in the Premier League this season (per WhoScored) and would take some replacing.
