Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been responding to a tweet from the Express and Star journalist Joe Edwards which mentioned Raul Jimenez.
According to Edwards, the Mexican forward is training as normal and missed one session last week due to pictures of a baby scan being taken (per Joe Edwards).
The Express and Star reporter went on to explain that there is ‘no need to panic’ for Wolves supporters.
Jimenez and his partner Daniela Basso are currently expecting the couple’s first child together (per Express and Star).
Basso and Jimenez even revealed the sex of their unborn baby at Molineux, with the striker hitting a target in a goal with a football which set off blue smoke to reveal that the baby is a boy (per BBC).
Panic may have arisen amongst Wolves supporters following Jimenez’s absence from training as Tuttosport has recently suggested that Juventus are interested in signing the Mexican.
Manchester United, too, reportedly have an interest in signing the 29-year-old striker from Wolves (per The Times).
However, after the journalist relayed the news about the striker’s whereabouts to Wolves fans, supporters aired their calm over the matter.
Just to clear up any worries, Raul Jimenez is training as normal and has done throughout for Wolves. Just missed the one session last week when pictures were taken because of a baby scan. No need to panic. #wwfc

Wolves fans are likely to be wary of supposed transfer interest in the Mexican striker as he has been Wolves’ top scorer in the Premier League this season with 13 goals (per WhoScored).

No panicking, Joe. Worried about his welfare. He’s going nowhere.

Will Raul Jimenez still be with Wolves at the beginning of next season?
Yes, he's loyal to us
No, he'll be leaving
Not only has Jimenez been Wolves’ top scorer this season, but he has also netted an impressive six assists over 29 league outings this term.
A total of 19 goal contributions in 29 Premier League appearances has made the 29-year-old forward Wolves’ second-best performer this term with a solid 7.29/10 average rating.
No need for the clarification Joe. Wolves fans would never panic and jump to conclusions ? #wwfc
