TIF Thoughts…

If the reports are to be believed, interest is undoubtedly high in the 19-year-old, however, considering the season he is having, it is not overly surprising.

Over his 25 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga, the midfielder has scored seven goals and provided a remarkable 13 assists, in addition to a further goal and assist over five appearances in the Champions League, two goals and assists in the OFB Cup and one more assist in the Europa League – taking his total 10 goals and 17 assists in 38 appearances.

While these would be impressive figures for a seasoned midfielder, the fact that Szoboszlai is just 19 years old would suggest that the youngster, who can operate in various midfield positions including attacking midfield, has a significant amount of potential.

Do you think Wolves can beat the likes of Spurs and Arsenal to the signing of Szoboszlai?

As such, Wolves look set to face fierce competition for the £12.15 million-rated player, although, with the club currently sitting in fifth place in the table – seven points ahead of Spurs and nine ahead of Arsenal – should Szoboszlai desire a move to the Premier League, as well as wanting to continue playing European football next season, it could be argued that Wolves would be one of his safer bets.
