Speaking on the latest episode of The Times’ The Game Football Podcast with Natalie Sawyer and Matt Dickinson, Gregor Robertson was full of praise for Leander Dendoncker.
The 25-year-old scored the winning goal against Aston Villa on Saturday after he picked up a pass from Jonny and fired a left-footed drive beyond Orjan Nyland.
Robertson spent a bit of time talking about how impressed he has been with Wolverhampton Wanderers this season, and he was full of praise for the Belgian.
Here is what he had to say about Dendoncker:
“You could pick out so many good players for them [Wolves], I thought Leander Dendoncker was remarkable for them on [Saturday].
“He’s played in the back three, he’s also a box-to-box midfielder, and he got the goal, and they’re just so well run.”
It seems as if Robertson likes Wolves and picked out Dendoncker for particular praise.

The 25-year-old has played 49 matches this season for Wolves and featured as a centre-back as well as a central midfielder, highlighting his versatility within the Wolves squad, and has popped up with five goals this season, proving that he also has an eye for goal.
Robertson is clearly a fan of many Wolves players, and Dendoncker stood out for him against Aston Villa.
