To kick off this quiz on the goings-on with the Old Gold last week, which player were Juventus touted to have a strong interest in signing?

The report claims that Wolves could use Swiss club Grasshopper to sign the 19-year-old – Wolves’ owners have recently bought the Swiss outfit – with the report claiming that Yusuf might go there first before moving onto Molineux – but the Blades are also keen on a move for the midfielder.

It is claimed that Wolves submitted an offer of €7m (£6.3m), while Sheffield United are willing to offer half of that sum.

The piece has a quote from a source close to the player which claims that ‘it’s a possibility‘ that Yusuf could move to Wolves via Grasshopper.

TIF Thoughts…

The 19-year-old is set to leave Goteborg this summer, and it seems as if the Old Gold are keen on a move for Yusuf.

The fact that the Fosun Group now owns Grasshopper means that they could be exploited by Wolves to get players – so it will be interesting to see if they do this for Yusuf.

The 19-year-old made 26 appearances for Goteborg last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists and also winning the Swedish league’s Young Player of the Year award for his performances.

If this report is to be believed, then Wolves are in the box seat for Yusuf’s signature and have also offered more money than the Blades.

However, it will be interesting to see if the Old Gold do actually make a move for Yusuf or if they have other targets in mind.
