West Ham United’s Sebastien Haller, Angelo Ogbonna and Robert Snodgrass should be in contention to face Tottenham Hotspur, according to @ExWHUemployee. David Moyes’ side were beaten by Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium on Saturday and none of the aforementioned players were involved (as per BBC Sport).

The Hammers currently find themselves involved in a relegation battle and currently occupy 17th place in the Premier League with just goal difference separating them and Bournemouth. The hosts fell victim to goals from Raul Jimenez and Pedro Neto at the weekend but they could be handed a fitness boost ahead of their upcoming fixture with their London rivals Spurs.

To start this quiz on Mark Noble with a tough one, in what year did the midfielder make his league debut for the Hammers?

@ExWHUemployee confirmed in a series of tweets that Haller and Ogbonna ‘should’ be in contention for Tuesday night’s game, as should Snodgrass.

Both sides are in desperate need of all three points for very different reasons. Spurs are now nine points adrift of the UEFA Champions League places after they lost further ground on Chelsea this past weekend and Moyes’ team need to start winning if they wish to preserve their Premier League status, and fast.

Are you confident the Hammers will avoid relegation this season?

TIF Thoughts…

Haller and Ogbonna have been regular starters for West Ham United this season and therefore there is a strong case to suggest that had they been fit, the pair would have played some part at the weekend and so having them back for the next game, we believe, would be a big boost for Moyes.

Snodgrass has started less frequently, however, he has still managed to contribute five goals and five assists in the Premier League this season (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk). In our view, any sort of positive result for the Irons at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will serve as a huge confidence boost for the fight that lays ahead.
