West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Guimaraes defender Falaye Sacko this summer.
This comes after it was recently published in a report by the Daily Mail that the Hammers, as well as fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace, are looking at a summer move for the defender.
The report also added that both clubs have been in contact with the right-back’s advisors about a potential deal that could see him move to England.
It is also claimed in the report that “the Premier League duo will face competition from the Bundesliga while French side Rennes are also interested” in signing Sacko this summer.
The 25-year-old Mali international, who is currently valued at £2.52 million according to Transfermarkt, has made 63 appearances for Guimaraes in which he has managed to provide eight assists (per Transfermarkt).
So far this season, Sacko has made a total of 26 appearances for the Portuguese club in which he has managed to provide five assists for his team (per Transfermarkt).
His performances in his 16 appearances in the Portuguese top-flight this season have earned Sacko a season rating of 6.97/10, making him the seventh highest-rated performer at the club in this campaign (per WhoScored).
