Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a ticketing update which was relayed on the Hammers’ official Twitter account.
On Tuesday, the Irons shared a post from the club’s website to social media in which a ‘ticketing update’ was relayed (per West Ham).
In the article, the Hammers reiterated that supporters who had already bought tickets for games and those that have season tickets have been contacted on the options available surrounding refunds (per West Ham).
Quotes from Mark Noble were then shared as he stated that fans’ “support and solidarity right now is more important than ever” before thanking fans on behalf of “all the players, staff and everyone at the club”.
The post then goes on to explain the options available to those with match tickets or season tickets and states that no further comment can currently be made on season tickets for next term.
After the Hammers then shared this update to supporters on social media, the London Stadium faithful aired their reactions.
A ticketing update for our supporters.

As revealed last week, the Premier League is set to resume play behind closed doors from Wednesday 17th June (per West Ham).
It seems likely that the Hammers will play over the following weekend, though, as the first two matches will be Aston Villa vs Sheffield United and Manchester City vs Arsenal.
Why not let us email our request for a refund instead of making us call, be put on hold and wind us up???

Are West Ham making a mess of giving supporters with season tickets and match tickets refunds?Yes, it's a shamblesNo, they're doing okay |
In the post from the club, Noble was quoted as saying: “I would like to thank all of our fans for their patience, continued loyalty and backing during this time.”
However, after the post was shared to social media, it seemed that many West Ham fans were frustrated with the Irons.
Phoned and just ended up being cut off anyway, poor form guys. Just refund us.

Sorry but this is poor. I understand the unprecedented situation, but you should not have to phone up to get a refund. This is 2020, it should be possible online.

As can be seen in these responses from the London Stadium faithful, it seems that many fans were frustrated with the way in which the club had chosen to sort ticket refunds.
