Supporters of West Ham United have been responding to quotes from David Moyes which were posted to social media by the Hammers.

On Saturday, the Irons posted a link to an interview with the Scottish manager and also relayed some of his quotes in the tweet itself (per West Ham).

In the quotes which were tweeted, Moyes expressed that he was ‘delighted with the way the players have responded’ to the sessions after returning to training.

The link shared in the tweet led to the rest of the interview on the East London club’s website (per West Ham), and in it, the 57-year-old gaffer discussed their return to training further.

Following a vote by Premier League shareholders last Wednesday, it was decided that top-flight players would be resuming contact training.

It was stated that the unanimous vote was another step towards the league restarting – and a day later, the Premier League’s return was revealed to be pencilled in for 17th June.

After the Hammers’ Scottish manager discussed how the Irons were performing in preparation for the return of top-flight fixtures, fans aired their responses in response to what Moyes had to say.

Since Moyes was reappointed by the London Stadium outfit, he has overseen a weak points-per-game ratio of just 0.92 across 12 outings; the second-worst ratio of his managerial career (per Transfermarkt).

Of those 12 matches, three have been won, two have been drawn and seven have been lost (per Transfermarkt), which did not fill some fans with confidence.

As can be seen in these responses from West Ham fans, while some have belief in the former Manchester United manager, others are much more sceptical.
