Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a report which has emerged on a unique training method being used by David Moyes.

According to the Daily Mail, the Scottish manager has held a training session at the London Stadium with players in their full kit.

This technique is reportedly being used by the former Manchester United gaffer to help the Hammers’ first-team players get used to playing at an empty stadium.

The training method is due to the fact that when the Premier League returns to action on 17th June, it will be doing so behind closed doors (per West Ham).

Last week, top-flight shareholders voted unanimously for the league to return on that date with Aston Villa vs Sheffield United and Manchester City vs Arsenal set to be the first matches.

According to the Daily Mail’s report though, while a number of clubs are planning to do similar to Moyes and train at their stadiums, the Hammers were the first to do so.

After the report was shared to social media (via @WHUFCFZ), the London Stadium faithful aired their thoughts on the unique training idea.

In recent days, Moyes has already discussed his side’s return to training and has stated that he has been “delighted” with the team’s efforts during lockdown and since returning to the training pitch (per West Ham).

In his comments on training, the 57-year-old gaffer also reiterated the Irons’ intent to finish “the Premier League season strongly”.

As can be seen in these responses from West Ham fans, the idea to train at the London Stadium in full kits received some mixed responses, however, some believed that it was a clever idea.
