Spurs fans on Twitter have flocked to a post from Moussa Sissoko. 

The former Newcastle United man shared a picture of himself in training at Hotspur Way, simply writing: ‘Focus’. The tweet has subsequently attracted the attention of plenty of Lilywhites supporters on Twitter, many of whom were quick to share their thoughts on the midfielder’s tweet.

Spurs signed the French international from Newcastle in 2016 and in his four years with the Lilywhites, the 30-year-old has gone on to make 151 appearances for the North London club; contributing four goals and 15 assists (per Transfermarkt). Surprisingly, two of those goals came in consecutive home games earlier in the season, with the Frenchman adding to his tally with efforts against Bournemouth and Burnley respectively (per Transfermarkt).

The midfielder was subsequently ruled out with a knee injury in January, which kept him out until the season’s suspension in March. It seems as if the 30-year-old will be back in contention for a starting spot against Manchester United this Friday evening, however, after Jose Mourinho confirmed that all of his players who were injured before the enforced break would be back fit ahead of the Premier League’s restart.
