Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to an image of Jose Mourinho taking training at the North London club.

The club’s official Twitter account shared the image of the Portuguese manager, saying: “All smiles from the boss.”

Spurs appointed the former Manchester United and Chelsea boss back in November of last year, following the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino (per BBC). Unfortunately for Lilywhites supporters, he has struggled to push the North London club back into the top-four race, with his side currently sitting in eighth position in the top-flight ahead of its resumption later this month.

The 57-year-old manager has earned a reputation to be a serial winner of trophies in his esteemed career, but he won’t be able to deliver a trophy to Spurs in his first season at least, as he saw his side get knocked out of both the FA Cup and Champions League in March.

Reaction from Spurs fans to the image of Mourinho can be seen in the tweets below. However, with the manager confirming recently that all the injured players he had before the enforced break are now back fit, he will no doubt be confident of a strong end to the domestic campaign.

Other fans continued airing their support for the Portuguese manager in their replies.

Some Spurs fans are clearly not as happy with the 57-year-old as their manager, however.

Overall, it seems as if Mourinho is yet to win over every Spurs fan, but we’re sure that if the former Real Madrid boss can deliver a win against his old side Manchester United in the North London club’s first game back in the Premier League next Friday, then some fans will be a lot more complimentary.
