Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a transfer link which has emerged between Spurs and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Raul Jimenez.
According to Football Insider, Jose Mourinho is a ‘massive admirer’ of the Mexican striker and may attempt to sign him in the next transfer window.
As stated in the report, the London club may ditch their supposedly cautious approach in the next window if the Old Gold’s striker is receptive to their interest.
Football Insider goes on to state that Jimenez believes that he has ‘one more big career move’ in him that would ‘land him a massive payday’.
Reportedly, the Wolves’ star man would not cost much more than £30 million to bring to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Furthermore, Mourinho would be so interested in bringing Jimenez to Spurs that he would sell some senior players to allow for the arrival of the ‘marquee recruit‘.
Lots of Spurs fans shared their thoughts on the transfer link with the Wolves player after the report was shared to them on social media by @thespursweb.
? Football Insider: Jose Mourinho is a massive admirer of Jimenez, and sees him as a partner to Harry Kane, rather than a backup.

As can be seen in these responses from Spurs fans, they were left delighted that their club had been linked with a potential move for the Premier League striker.
However, as Jimenez currently has a market value of £36 million (per Transfermarkt), Football Insider’s touted fee of £30 million seems unlikely.
