Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports claiming that Jose Mourinho and Tanguy Ndombele have had a training ground bust-up.
According to reports by Julien Laurens for ESPN, Ndombele has told his manager that he never wants to play for Tottenham again, following a row that ‘erupted during a training session on Monday and then continued in Mourinho’s office’.
The report goes on to state that Mourinho informed the Frenchman that he was not ready to start Tottenham’s fixtures against Manchester United and West Ham, as well as the fact that he was ‘not doing enough during sessions’.
However, Ndombele is of the belief that he is at ‘100% of his capacity’ and has ‘had enough of the constant criticism and taunts coming from his manager’.
After Daily Hotspur relayed sections of the report on Twitter, fans of Spurs have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many quite clearly stating that they simply do not believe the reports.

Funny how all these journalists have access to our training ground

Since arriving at Spurs from Olympique Lyon for a fee of £54m last summer, Ndombele has struggled somewhat for game time at the club, managing just 19 appearances in the Premier League.
The midfielder has scored two goals and provided two assists for Tottenham in their league campaign this term, as well as a further two assists over his six appearances for the club in the Champions League, although, considering the amount of money that Spurs spent on the player, it is not surprising to see the following fans slate Ndombele.
No smoke without fire. Plenty of outlets reporting this now.

If this is true, then Ndombele is a goner. We cannot sacrifice a manager over a player – especially a player who hasn’t done much for the club.
He might become world class but thats beside the point. If this is true, we got to sell him & look at othershttps://t.co/uOjLrOc5i1— arunSpurs (@arunspurs) June 24, 2020
Exactly, and if that is the case, then we’re better off without him

As such, it would appear that the Spurs fans are split on the story, as some appear to be in denial about the reports, while others have taken aim at the French midfielder.
Perhaps more interestingly, however, is that very few Spurs fans have criticised Mourinho, despite the fact that the manager has often targeted the player with individual abuse.
Do you think that Tanguy Ndombele will leave Spurs this summer?
YES
NO
In any case, we will find out if the reports are indeed true over the remainder of the season, as, if they are, it would seem unlikely that we will see Ndombele in a Spurs shirt again.
